The native Californian has travelled extensively in pursuit of new ideas and inspiration; all contributing to his unique style. Joe Keylon began his career freelancing for clients such as Universal Studios, Scholastic and Wall Street Journal, right after graduating with Honors from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Joe's design and illustration experience continues to expand, incorporating a wide range of 2-D and 3-D projects, from packaging, editorial, corporate communications to a hip bowling alley & martini lounge.
Joe's work has been published in America's top design annuals including, Creativity Annual 32. Joe recently illustrated his first children's book with a wonderful author Stephanie Bloom called The Drummer Who Lost His Beat. As the creative partner of Mel Lim, the quality controller, the letterpress man, the production manager, the color specialist and of course, the husband, Joe continues to play dynamic roles in an intimate yet fast-paced design studio.
After all, it's a family business! |
